  17. <p>    Broadcasting from a Des Moines radio station in the 1930s,
  18. miles away from any action, "Dutch" Reagan took Western Union
  19. reports of ball games and added his own verbal embellishments
  20. for a crackling play-by-play. Ronald Reagan, 78, will be back
  21. at the sports mike next week, but from on the scene. The former
  22. First Fan will provide commentary for one inning during NBC's
  23. telecast of the July 11 All-Star game. After his labors in the
  24. broadcast booth, he has requested compensation: an ice-cold
  25. drink and a hot dog.
